\nEgypt has a long history of volunteerism and social action, and these initiatives have been an essential part of the social and cultural life of Egyptians throughout the ages. It should be noted that volunteering in Egypt is not only about charitable and social initiatives, but also extends to areas such as culture, sport, education and the environment.
\nVolunteering is important to me.
\nPromoting social belonging: Volunteerism contributes to building strong ties between members of society and promoting a sense of belonging and responsibility towards society.
\nSkills development: Volunteering gives individuals the opportunity to develop new skills and learn new things, thereby enhancing their opportunities in the labour market and contributing to their personal and professional development.
\nPromotion of mental health: Volunteering contributes to improving the mental health of individuals by providing social support and increasing the sense of convenience and happiness.
\nStrengthening social solidarity: Here, volunteering creates a more tolerant and cooperative environment.
\nAnd to volunteer, different kinds:
\nSocial volunteering exists, including assistance and services for vulnerable groups, such as food distribution to the poor or psychological support for the needy.
\nThere is a cultural voluntariness, including awareness-raising and culture in society through the organization of cultural events such as art exhibitions and educational lectures
\nThere is also voluntary environmental action, including environmental protection, clean-up of public areas, tree planting and pollution reduction.

\nWhat are the benefits of volunteering for the individual and society?

\nImproving personal and institutional reputations, volunteering contributes to building positive reputations for individuals and institutions, thus enhancing their position in society.
